Hues by Zooee Ghostly

We talked
about a child
and auditioned names
to eachother
and we talked
about a home
in Raleigh
or Seattle
but we didn’t talk
about the $50
of rent money
I spent on coke
last night
nor
the moment
when that girl
kissed my neck
and I laughed.

Zooee Ghostly is tired of this city and recently published a chapbook called Purplewindowed Carrion and is trying to write a better book but this time maybe stop writing about women so much.
